To support the transition from assessors at local workforce board staff to the Centralized Assessment Entity staff, CLI is providing the following off-boarding check list. The purpose of this checklist is to help boards, assessors, Early Learning Providers, and the CAE prepare for the transition and minimize interruption to support of our Early Learning Providers.

  • Before Sept 1

    • Assessments

      • boards should continue to conduct assessments

      • verify and finalize any completed assessments

      • upload all documents for assessments

        • finalized assessment report with signature

        • certification impact forms

        • complete event log updates especially assessment ready event logs

    • Status spreadsheet

      • This spreadsheet will ask for information about the status of assessments scheduled after Sep 1

      • Download the status spreadsheet

        • CAE will pre-fill ELP information from CLI Engage

      • Fill in the status spreadsheet

        • url for the board specific spreadsheet

      • Upload completed status spreadsheet to the same location by Aug 28

        • use the same location to upload spreadsheet

    • Data clean up

      • Assign mentors to TRS ELPs

      • inactivate accounts for staff no longer employed by the boards

    • review all dates associated with program assessments

      • Star rating dates

      • screening impact dates

      • recent dates

    • Records retention

      • records and documentation of assessments before Sep 1 should remain with boards

  • Sep 1 to Oct 1

    • Communicate to ELPs scheduled during this period that their assessments will be rescheduled after Oct 1 by the CAE

    • CAE will provide message to send to ELPs

    • Participate in end to end practice for communications between CAE and mentors

  • After Oct 1

    • CAE will communicate to ELPs the scheduled
