How Do I Create a Google Account?

This TECPDS article will discuss how to create a Google account. All users on TECPDS must have a unique email address and a Google Account to log in. The platform uses Google authentication for usernames and passwords, which are not stored in TECPDS.

For best results, please use Google Chrome on a desktop or laptop.

Instructions:

  1. Go to https://accounts.google.com/signup.

  2. Enter your name, birthday and gender.

  3. Choose a username and follow the prompts to verify your email.

  4. If you add a phone number, you'll receive a text for verification—this helps with account recovery.

  5. Choose whether to opt-in to Google services by selecting Yes, I’m in or Skip.

  6. Review the Terms of Service, scroll down, and click OK to finish.
