How do I access and complete the Universal Roster Upload template to upload my class rosters?
This article is to show you how to access the Universal Roster Upload Template used to create teacher, student, and create classes all at the same time in CLI Engage.

Log on to CLI Engage and locate the turquoise banner titled Administrative Tools.
Click on Class & Student Management.
Click on Central Roster Management.
Click on Universal Roster.
Click the Universal Roster Template button to download the template.
Make sure all required fields are complete and in the correct format. The Instructions tab is on the second tab of the template.
Once the Universal Roster template is correct, complete, and saved, to upload the template, go back to Central Roster Management (follow steps 1-2 above) and click on Universal Roster.
In the Community/District field begin typing in your community or district and select it from the drop down.
Click Choose File and select your Universal Roster template that you are uploading.
By default, the invitations will be sent to the teachers on the template and their classes will be created. The teachers will need the invitations sent to be able to register their account and gain access to CLI Engage.
Click Submit.
Click the Play/Process button.
Once the template has been processed and the Status column says Finished, check under the Action column for any errors by clicking the blue speech bubble/the log.
