KPM: Instructional reports available on CLI Engage
Answer
Class and Student Level Reports coincide with the drop-down menu pictured. All reports can be accessed by clicking on the reports button from the student view page within the KPM Assessment.
Class Completion: The Completion Report is designed to show the number of students who have completed a subtest. This is helpful when you have started administering KPM and need a way to see which students have and have not yet been assessed.
Class Summary: The Class Summary Report shows the scores of all students in the class for every subtest administered, providing you with an overall picture of your entire class. The scores are color-coded to indicate which students have and haven’t met the benchmarks.
Custom Score Report: This report allows you access to screener results, such as the KPM Literacy Screener offered at BOY and the Dyslexia Screener offered at EOY.
Class Summary (Percentile Rank): The percentile rank report translates scores for each subtest and converts them to percentiles. It’s a different scale that is available to help you analyze your data. The percentile ranks are an average. For example, a subtest score at the 75th percentile means that the student’s score is greater than or equal to 75% of all the other students.
Class Growth Report: The growth report allows teachers to view students’ gains over time. The Growth Report displays a bar graph indicating the percentage of students % meeting the benchmark on selected measures compared to waves of administration. Student average scores for the selected measure can also be viewed.
Within the Growth Report:
The Average Report indicates the average score for all students in each school tested in the community/district in the measure or sub-measure indicated out of a maximum total.
The Average Report provides a summary of student performance by calculating the average scores for all students assessed within each school in a given community or district. This report presents the average score for each measure or sub-measure, allowing users to compare results across schools or track performance trends over time. The scores are displayed out of the maximum possible score for each measure, offering insight into how students, on average, are performing in specific skills. This report is particularly useful for identifying areas of strength and need at a broader administrative level.
Student Report for Parent: The purpose of the Student Report for Parents is to provide specific information to parents about how their child performed on each KPM subtest. It includes information that explains the KPM assessment as well as guidance on how to interpret scores, along with a parent friendly description of the subtest and what it measures. Family resources for each subtest are linked through a QR code on the report.
Student Report for Teacher: This report gives you an individual student’s score for each KPM subtest administered, providing a snapshot of one students’ skills.
