How do I Access the TPRI & Tejas LEE Offline Assessments?

The offline assessment feature lets you assess students when you do not have an internet connection. You can also use offline assessment in the CLI Engage Assessment Practice Area.

  • Note: You need an internet connection to set up Offline Assessment the first time.

  • This example is from the Assessment Practice Area.

Prerequisites

Log in to CLI Engage.
Use an internet connection to set up Offline Assessment the first time.
After you assess students offline, reconnect to the internet to sync the data.

Instructions

  1. Open the CLI Engage Offline Assessment feature. You can access it from the Assessment Practice Area to practice, or from the class view in TPRI or Tejas LEE to assess students.

  2. Log in to CLI Engage. Find the Assessment Practice Area. Under the red Screening, Progress Monitoring, and Observation banner, select TPRI 1st Grade, TPRI 2nd Grade, Tejas LEE 1st Grade, or Tejas LEE 2nd Grade.

  3. To practice offline, select Assessment Practice Area. To assess students offline, select the correct TPRI or Tejas LEE grade-level button under the red banner.

  4. From the student view, select the orange Offline Assessment button.

  5. Create a 6- to 10-character personal PIN. The PIN must include at least one number and one uppercase letter. Select OK.

    Important: Do not use your CLI Engage login password as your PIN.

  6. The Offline Assessment data will begin to download. When the message “Resource download is complete” appears, select OK.

  7. Bookmark the Offline Assessment page in your browser.

  8. When you are ready to conduct TPRI or Tejas LEE offline, open your browser bookmark.

  9. Enter your personal PIN code, and then select Unlock.

  10. Turn off Wi-Fi or disconnect your computer or device from the internet. Some laptops use a switch or a function key to turn off Wi-Fi.

  11. Assess students as needed while you are offline.

  12. When you finish testing offline and have an internet connection again, complete the next steps.

    Before you sync, turn on Wi-Fi or connect to the internet.

  13. The sync buttons will become active. They will no longer be grayed out. Select the sync button to sync data for all students at once, or select the individual sync icon next to a student to sync one student at a time.

  14. You will be prompted to log in to CLI Engage again. Select OK.

  15. After you log in, the data will sync automatically.

  16. Select Online to return to your class assessment page and view the synced data.

  17. You can reset the PIN if needed.
