How Do I Use the Rostering Wizard to Add and Update Class Rosters?
The Rostering Wizard feature allows you to manually create classes, assign a teacher to a class, and add and update the class roster with three quick steps.

How to use Rostering Wizard to manually add and update class rosters:
Locate the Administrative Tools banner on your CLI Engage Dashboard.
Click on Rostering Wizard.
Enter the School Name.
Click Search.
To add a new class, continue with the following steps (To add or update students for an existing class, scroll down to Updating an existing class):
Click on Add a Class
Type in the teacher’s information into each field. The fields with a red asterisk are required.
Click Submit. This step will create the class.
In the pop up box, click Continue to add students to this class.
To add the students manually, type in the student’s information into each field in the row. The columns with a red asterisk are required for each student row.
Click the green plus sign, at the bottom to the right, to add rows for new students.
When you are done adding students, click Submit.
Alternatively, to upload your students with the Class Roster Template, click Upload Students
Click the Class Roster Template link to download the template.
Type the student’s information into each field in the Excel template. The middle name is not required.
Save the template.
Upload the template by clicking Upload Students. This is the same location where you downloaded the template.
Click Choose File.
Select the completed template.
Click Open.
Click Submit.
The students listed on the uploaded template will appear on the class roster and in the progress monitoring assessment.
Updating an existing class:
Select a Class.
Click the green plus sign, at the bottom to the right, to add rows for new students.
Click the blue minus sign to remove a row.
**Warning: This will remove all information entered into fields on that row.
Type in the student’s information into each field in the row. The columns with a red asterisk are required for each student row.
When you are done adding students, click Submit.
The new students will appear on the existing class roster and in the progress monitoring assessment.
