What Are the Features of the Universal Roster?

 Features

  1. Smart Updates and Inserts:
The application determines if the Teacher or Class or Student needs to be inserted or updated based on the presence of the local IDs in CLI Engage.

  2. More Rapid Processing Time:
Teachers, Classes and Students are processed independently reducing the processing time of large files.

    Duplicate Teacher prevention:
If a system suspects of a possible duplicate teacher, an automated help ticket is sent to CLI Engage.

  3. Teacher registration check:
If a Teacher account is not registered, the system will send a fresh invitation every time when the rosters are processed.

  4. Teacher-less Classes:
Classes will be created even before a Teacher of record is reflected on the file.

  5. Reassignment and renaming of Classes:
When a Class changes the Teacher of record while keeping the same Class local ID, the Class is assigned to the new Teacher and renamed accordingly.

  6. Up-to-date Student information:
As more Student demographic information becomes available in the file it will be updated accordingly, i.e., State Unique ID, sub-population indicators, etc.

  7. Two processing modes:

    1. Partial Enrollment
This mode is used when the file only contains data for some Classes in CLI Engage, then, no Student records will be inactivated.

    2. Complete Enrollment
This mode is used when the file contains data for all Classes in CLI Engage, then, Students who are not present in the file will be inactivated.
