Technical Specifications for CLI Engage

CLI Engage is part of The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston). Please see UTHealth Houston’s website policies for more information about data privacy, security, and accessibility.

CLI Engage is an online platform. When accessing the system, wired connections are recommended to avoid potential service interruption due to slower wifi connections.

Many CLI Engage tools feature extensive video examples, including activities and professional development resources. All videos on CLI Engage are streamed; there is no need to download video files.

Some CLI Engage reports download as PDFs. Download the free Adobe Reader PDF viewer here: https://get.adobe.com/reader/

All tools on CLI Engage are optimized for Google Chrome, but CLI Engage is tested on all major browsers:

• Google Chrome (preferred)

• Mozilla Firefox (version 3.6 or later)

• Apple Safari (version 5.0 or later)

• Internet Explorer (not recommended)

  • If using, MUST have version 11 or later

Whitelist

If you encounter server-related issues on CLI Engage, please contact your IT department. If you often have connection issues when accessing external websites, we recommend adding our website to your safe access domain names at the enterprise level, sometimes called a “whitelist” or “allowlist.” Please add the following to your organization’s whitelist:
