KPM Dyslexia Screening on CLI Engage
The Circle Kindergarten Progress Monitoring (KPM) is an approved reading instrument on CLI Engage that meets the Texas Education Agency (TEA) requirements for dyslexia screening in Spanish.
The Spanish-language TEA criteria aligned with KPM are illustrated below:
Based on data analysis, the Spanish decoding subtest—Decodificación—is also required as part of the KPM Dyslexia Screener to help identify Spanish-speaking students who may be at risk for reading difficulties.
KPM Dyslexia Screening measures are available during Wave 3 through the online assessment system.
