How do I Set Assessment Dates using the Assessment Lock feature in CLI Engage?

 

This feature lets each district determine the testing dates for each assessment and for each of its waves by showing or hiding the measure launch icons. Scores already collected will stay visible. You can still run reports and use the grouping tool. Districts will be able to change these dates at any time of the school year as needed.

This tool does NOT change what data shows up on reports or what gets sent to ECDS through Ed-Fi (for public schools in Texas).

Only users with a district-level role can add or edit the testing dates.

Prerequisites

You must be logged in to CLI Engage
You must have a district-level role to add/edit the dates

Instructions

  1. From the Dashboard, scroll down and click Class & Student Management.

  2. On the Community page, click the icon that looks like a calendar under the Action column.

  3. Add Start and End dates for the assessments and waves that you want to control. If a field is left blank, no Start or End limits will be imposed.

  4. Once the dates have been entered, scroll down and click Submit.

  5. (Optional) You can create a Custom Notification to alert your users of the dates - the guide is here:
