Assessor Training Plan to support ongoing PD:

This plan is developed with the Manager to outline the Assessors professional development training goals for the year and to help set learning goals to support performance and ensure compliance. In addition, a needs assessment survey will be conducted with Assessor staff to help determine the training needs.  

Sample Needs Assessment Survey:  

CLI Engage online courses: Assessors can review courses in the ATCP to help document evidence and identify key behaviors related to the Texas Rising Star Assessment Tool.  

Other courses available such as Infant, Toddler and preschool guidelines, Pre-k Guidelines and e-circle modules are recommended for all Assessor staff as part of their professional development.
