Each month, a variety of PLCs will be offered on the Specialist Training Calendar , found on the Texas ITSN website. You can also find the list and descriptions of the Specialist Program’s PLCs here.
Prioritize the required PLCs for the month that best meets your goals and personal schedule. You may choose to complete either the trainer PLC or the coach PLC for the required topics.
Reach out to your mentor if you need support. Various dates and times will be offered throughout the month. PLCs are 1 hour and 15 minutes in length.
Complete 9 virtual Professional Learning Community (PLC) trainings. Each topic PLC is offered for trainers to focus on the ITSN content and trainer competencies and for coaches to focus on ITSN content and coaching competencies. From the ITSN Specialist Training Calendar, choose at least one topic PLC for either trainers or coaches (the other can be used as a free choice PLC):
