🤔 Problem

I am unable to upload a submission with a shareable Google link. Before you begin, please make sure that you have the following:

  • A Google Drive folder
  • A video or document file in the Google Drive

🌱 Solution

  1. Go to your Google Drive.

    Locate your file.

  2. Right click on the video file and then click on ‘Share’ or ‘Get link.’

  3. Before sharing the link, adjust the settings so “Anyone with the link” can view.

Make sure the settings allow for “Anyone with the link” to view so that the submission reviewer can review the video/document for demonstrated competencies.

5. Finally, you can copy the video file link and paste it into the online text box on CLI Engage when uploading a new submission.

6. When uploading the submission, make sure to include in the textbox the date of video upload, timestamps to be viewed if video is over 20 minutes, and any additional information for your Submission Reviewer or PLC Facilitator, etc.

Here is a quick video on how to share an upload from Google Drive.
