When you become a registered trainer and are connected to the Infant Toddler Specialist Network Organization on TECPDS (see instructions here: Steps to Earning ITSN Certification ) you can begin to plan to deliver ITSN training content. You will deliver at least 5 approved trainings to infant and toddler teachers. To be qualified to train on a topic, you must:

    1. Attend an ITSN topic PLC for trainers or coaches by going to the Specialist Training Calendar

    2. Complete the corresponding course or webinar on CLI Engage that is listed as the prerequisite for the PLC topic on the specialist training calendar if you have not already

Once you have met the requirements for at least one of the topic PLCs, you can request access to the ITSN training.

Each time you plan to deliver training you will request the event by submitting a training event survey. This survey must be completed every time you deliver training.

This survey alerts our team so we can enter the event in TECPDS, and you will get access to the materials. If you plan to deliver a training more than once, you will still need to fill out the training event survey.

Three (3) of the five (5) trainings must be Certified ITSN Trainings, content developed by ITSN. The other two trainings can be ones that you have created for infant and toddler teachers, which must be approved by TECPDS and ITSN.

“ITSN_CM” must be included in the title of the training event. If you are interested in having your own training approved, please consult with your mentor.
