How Do I Access the Texas ITELG Online Training?

The Children’s Learning Institute partnered with the Texas Workforce Commission to provide free, online training that guides teachers through the developmental stages of child growth and instructional strategies of early learning domains presented in the Texas Infant, Toddler, and Three-Year-Old Early Learning Guidelines (2013). This training is designed to assist caregivers in understanding early childhood development and in making the most of each day during the early years of growth.

 

Prerequisites

You must be logged into CLI Engage

 Instructions

Follow the steps to access the Texas ITELG Training.

  1. From your Dashboard view, scroll down locate the purple “Online Learning and Professional Development” section. Click the button for the “Full Course Catalog”

  2. Look for “Texas Infant Toddler and Three-Year-Old Guidelines Training (SI)” course and click on “View Courses”. NOTE: The courses may be organized differently for everyone.

  3. Find the NOT YET ENROLLED section and click on the purple drop down arrow to see the course(s).

  4. Click Enroll for the lesson you would like to complete.

  5. Click “Save Changes” to continue to enroll yourself in the course.

  6. Proceed to completing all sections for the course.
