How Do I Access the CIRCLE Infant and Toddler Training?

The CIRCLE Infant and Toddler Training is a series of online courses on CLI Engage that provide teachers of infants and toddlers with the skills and knowledge to support skill development of the children in their care.

There are several courses available:

  • Talk with Me: Promoting Early Language Development (3 parts)

  • Read with Me: Supporting Early Literacy Development (2 parts)

  • Connect with Me: Supporting Early Social and Emotional Development (5 parts)

  • Grow with Me: Understanding and Using Developmental Assessments

  • Learn with Me: Promoting Early Cognitive Development (3 parts)

  • Move with Me: Supporting Early Physical Development and Health (2 parts)

*CLI recommends not using a mini IPad*

 Instructions

  1. Login to CLI Engage and click the “Full Course Catalog” button from the CLI Engage dashboard.

  2. Locate the “CIRCLE Infant and Toddler Teacher Training: “Play with Me” (SI)” program button in the course catalog.

  3. There are several CIRCLE Infant and Toddler Training courses available.

    1. If you have started any courses, these will show “IN PROGRESS.”

    2. Scroll down to “NOT YET ENROLLED” to choose a new course to begin. Click “Enroll” to enroll in any course.

  4. On the confirmation screen, click “Save changes.”

  5. After enrolling, you will be taken directly to the course.

    1. When you are ready to begin, click the “Demographics Questionnaire” button.

    2. For most CLI Engage courses, users will be required to complete a Demographics Questionnaire before beginning to review the course content.

  6. In all courses with a pre-test, you WILL NOT be able to access the course until you complete the pre-test.

    1. Once you have completed the pre-test, you will see a checkbox appear next to the pre-test and will then be able to click on the course content.

  7. You’re now able to complete your selected course!

    1. Be sure to visit all sections of the course so you will receive credit and earn your certificate.

    2. You do not need to complete the course in one sitting; CLI Engage will save your progress so you can come back at a later time.
