If you need to add a replacement teacher that is replacing an existing teacher, please complete the following steps:

Inactivate the current teacher by changing their status to Inactive on their profile page
Click on the Administrative Tools banner on the dashboard and click on the Class and Student tab.
From the table on the left, locate and click on the User Management tab.
Click on teacher.
Fill in your community/district, school, and the teacher’s name and click search. View selected teacher and click the edit button.
Include a note in the Teacher Notes box at the bottom of the profile page: For example: Inactivated & Replaced by (Insert Replacement name), per (Field Staff), Initials, & Date.
Complete any edits & notes and scroll down to click Submit to save changes.
Add the Replacement teacher to Engage
Click on the Administrative tools banner on your Dashboard and click on the management tab.
From the table on the left, locate and click on the User Management tab.
Click on the Teacher button.
Click on Add Teacher.
Enter community, school, first & last name, & all other required information on the page.
Once the Replacement teacher has been added to Engage, you need to assign the Replacement teacher to the Class using the Class Management tab. First click on the Teacher icon.
Select the teacher name and assign them as Lead Teacher in the drop-down. Click on Assign.
Now that the teacher has been assigned, be sure to rename the Classroom & Class with the Replacement teacher’s name by using the Edit icon.
Check that you have followed all steps to – Inactivate former Teacher & add Note to profile page, Add Replacement Teacher, Assign Replacement Teacher to Class, & Rename the Classroom and Class, and check the CIRCLE Progress Monitoring assessment or Class Roster Management to verify that changes are reflected
