How to access ITSN Training materials on TECPDS?

This article explains how ITSN specialists who are working on certification or are already Certified ITSN Members can access ITSN training materials on TECPDS.

Prerequisites:

Part One: Submit ITSN Training Event to Facilitate and ITSN Training

For you to access and document your training in TECPDS, you must submit a training event request survey for the ITSN training you want to deliver. This will alert an ITSN staff member to approve your request assign your training event in TECPDS and have it available to you. To submit a training event request, complete this short ITSN Training Event survey. ^{* For more information see page 5 of the Certified ITSN Member Program Manual.}

You will need to send your upcoming training events at least 3 to 4 weeks ahead of time. This will allow ITSN staff to create your training event in TECPDS and allow you to prepare for your training. It will also provide time for your participants to complete any prerequisites they may have prior to the training

Once you email participants their certificates, your ITSN training will be properly documented in TECPDS to count towards your certification.

Part Two: Accessing ITSN Trainings in TECPDS

Instructions

Access your TECPDS Dashboard

Click on the My Training Proposals tab

Choose the training you would like to access (like the sample picture) and click on the green file folder icon.
Scroll down and click on the Review Training Proposal tab at the bottom of the page
Under the Supporting Documentation section, click on the title of the document to download to be able use the document(s).
Open the document(s) (once you are approved) on your PC and review them before you use for the first time. Please remember to use the documents and PowerPoints as created and do not edit them in any way.

If you do not see the training(s) that you have requested, please send an email to itsnspecialistprogram@uth.tmc.edu to request access.
