How do I add education and credentials on TECPDS?

After setting up your accounts, we recommend that you pull together the documents you would like to upload, such as education, credentials, work history, and professional development.  (All professional development earned on CLI Engage will automatically transfer into the Texas Workforce Registry account.)

 Instructions

  1. Log in to tecpds.org and navigate to My Account

  2. Select Professional Development Profile - Education

  3. Enter the highest level of education achieved at the top of the education page screen.

  4. Each educational record, credential, or certification will need to be accompanied by its supporting documentation, so make sure you have electronic copies of all transcripts and certificates for each record you wish to add to this page.

  5. If a degree is not yet complete, you can still add it, but do not put a completed date.

  6. You also have the option to add a list of courses you have completed for this pending degree. These go into the Coursework in Early Childhood/Child Development section.

  7. The Credentials/Certifications section is for you to identify those early childhood certifications or credentials that you have earned. You may start typing the name of the credential into the text box, and a drop-down menu will provide a list of possible credentials. If the credential or certificate name does not appear, you may type the full name into this box.
