The Texas Kindergarten Entry Assessment vocabulary sub measure was designed to measure ranges of ability along a continuum of vocabulary development, and Circle Progress Monitoring Rapid Vocabulary Naming was designed to measure fluency. The goals of what each assessment tool measures are slightly different.
