Policy

Upon onboarding, Assessors will be required to disclose any previous affiliation (Personal or Professional) with Early Learning Programs to ensure ongoing objectivity and prevent any preferential treatment or biases in ratings. These considerations include but are not limited to:

  • being in the employment of the assessed program within the last 5 years

  • having a financial stake in the program

  • having any kind of personal or family relationships with program staff

  • having family members who were enrolled in the program in the past 5 years

If staff knowingly and willingly violate operational procedures related to conflict of interest, adverse actions may occur according to the policies outlined in the UTHealth Houston Handbook of Operating Procedures.
