After the Observation

Complete scoring of the observation as soon as the observation ends. Be sure to reference the Texas Rising Star manuals and evidence from the notetaking forms.

Maintain objectivity: always refer to what you hear and see and not your feelings. Be mindful of the halo effect (the halo effect is a perception error that distorts the way a person sees someone or interprets the information about someone with whom they may have formed a positive relationship).

Once a score is assigned, it is considered final.
