Entering scores in Engage

The Lead Assessor will enter the assessment score in Engage, under the Texas Rising Star Assessment 2.0 section. Search for the school in the search box and begin assessment - select the appropriate type of assessment (e.g., initial, recertification, annual monitoring, SIA, star level evaluation, category reassessment). The Assessors responsible for conducting the classroom observation will enter scores for category 2 and 4 for the classrooms observed.  

Note: Until the enhancement is finalized to allow multiple Assessors to enter Texas Rising Star class data in Engage, Assessors are unable to enter scores into the Texas Rising Star Class for a school at the same time. It is suggested that Assessors communicate among each other to determine who is entering scores first, and informing the other Assessors when they are done. CLI staff will be working on allowing multiple Assessors to enter scores for the same school simultaneously.   The Assessor assigned at the school level will be responsible for beginning the assessment and finalizing it after reviewing the calculated scores.
