Procedure for Staff Change

If an ELP reports a staff or director change, no immediate action is taken. The applicable Texas Rising Star staff will record this communication within the Engage event log as a General Status Update. Upon the next visit, the Assessor will review Category 1 regarding the changes reported and score accordingly. Should this change in staff and/or director constitute an SIA (Service Improvement Agreement), the program will receive technical assistance within their CQIP (Continuous Quality Improvement Plans) for the six-month SIA time frame specific to the applicable categories and measures. Reminder: a new director will necessitate the completion of the CQIP required components prior to the ELP’s next assessment or monitoring visit.
