How do I correct the Student Not Found in Engage error message on my Single Roster Upload template?

 Problem

I received a Student Not Found in Engage error on my Single Roster Upload (SRU) template

 Solution

Based on the information you provided in the template, the student is not currently in Engage

  1. Check that the student information is correct

  2. On the line for that student, update the Action in column A to an I (for Insert) instead of a U (for Update)

  3. Process the updated template again under Data Management

  4. Check the status of the template after appx. 15 minutes (or more during high traffic times)

  5. Submit a Help Ticket if you need further assistance submit a help ticket
